Auce Music School is proud for its activity and susceptibility – involvement of the Latvia–Lithuania Programme, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The Latvia–Lithuania Cross Border Cooperation Programme’s under European Territorial Cooperation Objective 2007-2013 main objective is to promote sustainable and equal socio-economic development in border regions to make it competitive for economic and business development and attractive for living and visiting.  
Working with Naujoji  Akmene Music school (Lithuania)  were implemented 2 projects  (project coordinator  - Sallija Bankevica),

  • Joint Concert of Adult Training (25 adults studied 6 month)

Benefits of the project – new music instruments, sound equipment, national costumes for choir, methodical literature, furniture, multimedia devices etc.
During the process of project implementation was involved great number of people of both communities and disabled people as well.
During the project students and teachers developed their creativity, cooperation and language skills.
Adults training in music were one of the ways for life-long education for people of cross-border region.
Projects promoted cooperation and awareness of two cross-border communities and Music schools as well.
